Job summary

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Unit Manager - RN to lead a nursing unit in a long-term care setting. You will ensure high-quality, cost-effective care aligned with our mission and regulatory standards, while guiding the nursing team and collaborating with physicians and staff.

You will oversee medication management, maintain staff coverage, and actively contribute to care delivery and patient outcomes. A strong nursing leadership background and valid state RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing degree(s) as stated and hold current licensure.
• Nurse leadership experience is required (at least 1 year).
• BLS/CPR certification must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage.
• Participate with interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals and reduce rehospitalizations.
• Mentor and educate nurses and serve as a resource to staff on quality of care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

RN licensure
