Genesis HealthCare is seeking a Unit Manager/Director - RN to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care on an assigned unit.

You will lead nursing staff, ensure care delivery aligns with the mission and regulations, and collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This full-time day shift role offers growth opportunities within a supportive, inclusive work environment.

Competenze

Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Mansioni

Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and company policies in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unit.
Manage human resources in the assigned unit, including limiting overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
