Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed hospital delivering inpatient services for adolescents, adults, military, veterans and first responders. As Unit Manager you will lead a team of professionals, provide compassionate hands-on support, and ensure the unit meets physical, social and behavioral health needs while maintaining

Qualifications

• Current license to practice nursing in Kentucky (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs+.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall functioning of the patient care unit.
• Assigns appropriate numbers and mix of staff as guided by the staffing plan based on census and patient acuity.
• Directs and supervises staff in clinical and administrative matters, ensuring that accreditation standards, practice standards, and policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
