Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients within the treatment milieu according to Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Assist in patient nursing care to meet spiritual, emotional, and physiological needs.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing policies.

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has a spacious cafeteria, gymnasium, art/activity room, group rooms, classrooms and other areas to create a pleasant atmosphere for patients and their families. Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System’s quality services are provided by psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, activity therapists and teachers. Also, care is given by registered nurses 24 hours a day. Since 1986, Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has been a proven psychiatric care provider in mental health and substance use.

As a Registered Nurse you will work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of the patients we serve. You will provide compassionate, hands‑on support that addresses the physical, social, and behavioral needs of each patient.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for:

• Providing professional nursing care, using the nursing process, to patients within the treatment milieu (child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric), according to the Standards of Nursing Practice and Care.
• The Registered Nurse assists in patient nursing care to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physiological need of patients served.
• This position involves the administration of medications and treatment in accordance with physician orders and established nursing policies and procedures.
