Job summary

ExcelCare Norwood is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead daily clinical operations in our skilled nursing facility. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, maintain care quality per plans and orders, and ensure compliant documentation and regulatory adherence.

You will collaborate across disciplines, participate in care plan meetings, and support admissions, discharges, and transfers while fostering a compassionate, resident-centered environment for our residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

RN Unit Manager

ExcelCare Norwood, a leading provider of rehabilitation and healing services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team in our skilled nursing facility. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong support for nursing staff.

RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit
• Supervising, supporting, and mentoring LPNs and CNAs on the unit
• Ensuring residents receive high-quality nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders
• Monitoring resident conditions and communicating changes with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Completing and reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participating in care plan meetings and collaborating with other departments to support resident needs
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Addressing staff concerns and helping maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
