Job summary

Complete Care in Hackensack, NJ is seeking an RN Unit Manager with an active NJ RN license to lead a unit on the 1st shift with a full-time schedule and rotation every other month.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, 2+ years of direct care experience in geriatric or long-term care settings, and 1 year of nursing management experience, plus current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license with no disciplinary action against license.
• Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings as an RN.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing management experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of high-quality patient care on assigned unit.
• Interdisciplinary coordination with other healthcare professionals.
• Staff supervision and oversight.
• Regular nursing rounds and progress tracking.
• Compliance assurance and quality of care.
• Performance evaluation and coaching of staff.
• Resource management and conflict resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of an RN Unit Manager

• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university,
• An active/ valid NJ (RN) Registered Nurse license; Must have no disciplinary action in effect against professional license.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric setting as an RN.
• Minimum (1) year of experience in nursing management.
• Current CPR Certification.
