AristaCare Health Services is seeking a Unit Manager (RN/LPN) in New Jersey to oversee care management for a patient population within a defined unit. The role involves directing the nursing process, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation under state licensure.

You will coordinate resource use, ensure timely care interventions and foster interdisciplinary communication to improve patient outcomes while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in a hospital or LTC setting.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Must possess an RN or LPN license in New Jersey.

Job description

Unit Manager– is reasonable to oversee the care management of a population of patients within an assigned area, unit or clinical function. The position conducts the nursing process, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure. The Unit Manager - RN coordinates resource utilization, timely and appropriate care interventions, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction, adherence to center's clinical systems and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Must possess, a valid RN or LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
• Must have 6 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility (LTC).
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
