Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit and ensure delivery of high-quality resident care. The ideal candidate holds an active NJ RN license with no disciplinary action and has proven management experience in a long-term care or geriatric setting, plus CPR certification.

You will oversee staff, patient and family education, ensure compliance, and coordinate interdisciplinary care. This role requires strong leadership, resource management, and conflict resolution skills.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license with no disciplinary action.
• Minimum 2 years of direct care in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings as an RN.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing management experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of high-quality patient care on your unit.
• Oversee staff, patient, and family education.
• Track progress and ensure regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care.
• Supervise staff and conduct regular nursing rounds.
• Evaluate performance and provide coaching as needed.
• Manage resources and resolve conflicts; handle other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of an RN Unit Manager

• A nursing degree from an accredited college or university,

• An active/ valid NJ (RN) Registered Nurse license; Must have no disciplinary action in effect against professional license.

• Minimum two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric setting as an RN.

• Minimum (1) year of experience in nursing management.

• Current CPR Certification.
