Gretna Health & Rehabilitation Center in Gretna, VA seeks a Unit Manager, RN to oversee clinical operations in a 90-bed skilled rehab center. The role includes supervising nurses and CNAs, interfacing with physicians, and coordinating QI follow-up, with on-call duties as needed.

The ideal candidate has Virginia RN licensure, 3–5 years of LTC experience, and a background in regulatory compliance. BSN preferred. Competitive pay and robust benefits are provided.

• Licensed RN in Virginia (or compact license)

• Strong knowledge of federal/state long-term care regs
• Nursing management experience preferred
• BSN preferred

Gretna Health & Rehabilitation Center has an exciting opportunity for a Unit Manager, RN in our 90 bed skilled rehab center in Gretna.

The Unit Manager will oversee clinical operations of the unit and is responsible for staff supervision of nurses and CNAs, as well as interfacing with physicians, QI reporting and follow-up, and providing clinical expertise to staff as needed. This unit provides care for our most clinically acute patients and residents. Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties.

Requirements:

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse/ LPN.
• Minimum three to five years of experience as an RN, preferably in long term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care.
• Nursing Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
