Job summary

Bethesda Care Center in Fremont, Ohio seeks an RN Unit Manager to lead the nursing team across all shifts. You will supervise care delivery, develop care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

The role requires RN (and LPN) licensure, strong leadership and communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to quality care. 12-hour shifts with a collaborative leadership team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the nursing team to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with physicians, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, and accurate documentation.
• Monitor residents’ health and adjust care plans as needed.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development for nursing staff.
• Foster teamwork and effective communication across departments.
• Maintain proper staffing levels and assist with scheduling.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions.
• Support quality improvement, infection control, and compliance initiatives.
• Participate in care conferences and family meetings to update and educate.
