Unit Manager, Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to serve as a Unit Manager.

Sign-on bonus: $5,000 - $7,000

Responsibilities

• This position acts in a supervisory role to the Clinical staff on each unit, reporting to the Director of Nursing.
• Facilitates the resolution of issues and concerns associated with patient/resident care including family issues.
• Ensures assessments, documentation and care plans are completed accurately and in a timely fashion for all shifts.
• Supports the Infection Control Practitioner/Staff Development Coordinator in ensuring clinical team compliance.
• Participates with interdisciplinary team for quality improvement initiatives and sits on Quality Assurance Committee.

Requirements

• Current LPN or RN license from state.
• Current/active CPR certification, required.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
• Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.
• Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.
