Job summary

Harborview Decatur is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager - RN/LPN to oversee nursing teams in our skilled nursing facility in Decatur, GA. This role focuses on delivering safe resident care, staff supervision, and compliant operations.

You will supervise RN/LPN Charge Nurses, CNAs, and Medication Aids; complete admissions and routine assessments; monitor conditions and respond quickly to changes; ensure timely documentation and family communication.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in good standing in Georgia.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Unit Manager - RN/LPN

What You Will Do

• Supervise delivery medications and treatments along with supervision of RN/LPN Charge Nurses, CNAs, and Medication Aids where applicable

• Completion of required admission and routine resident assessments

• Monitor resident conditions and respond quickly to changes, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care.

• Support activities of daily living

• Maintain clear, timely documentation

• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary teams and families

• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to protect your residents and your teammates

• Other duties as assigned

What You Must Have

• Active RN/LPN license in good standing in the state of practice.

• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required - we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.
