Qualifications

• RN with NC license and CPR certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; nursing degree required.
• 3+ years in medical setting; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records; Athena preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, MAs, nurses and patients to resolve questions about meds and care.
• Assess urgency of patient problems and triage appropriately.
• Record complete, accurate patient and physician communications in the system.
• Handle high-volume calls and manage messages efficiently.
• Submit new prescriptions and refills per physician orders.
• Support care management programs and value-based initiatives.
• Weekend coverage may be required.
