Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Live Answer team in Charlotte, NC, focusing on triage calls and medication refills. This full-time role offers potential for hybrid/remote work and requires strong clinical judgment and patient communication.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, nurses, MAs, and patients to assess urgency, document care, and provide nurse-driven care management support. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; bachelor's preferred.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• CPR certification through the AHA or Red Cross required.
• 3+ years of experience in a medical setting; supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of electronic health record systems; Athena preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Triage medical inquiries and document phone calls.
• Assess urgency of patient problems with physicians and staff.
• Record complete patient and physician communications.
• Handle high volume calls and message retrieval.
• Submit prescriptions per physician orders.
• Support care management and value-based initiatives.
• Occasional weekend coverage 8am-2pm.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
