Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Transfer Coordinator RN for the Temple, TX onsite Transfer Center. The role focuses on moving patients within the system and ensuring swift, coordinated access for doctors and patients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient transfers with physicians, nurses and departments to promote smooth outcomes.
• Provide excellent customer service within the organization and with external partners.
• Follow protocols to gather accurate information from other institutions and physicians on time.
• Enhance services across facilities using available resources and information.
• Ensure documentation is clear, concise and compliant with standards using correct forms.
• Manage relationships with referring physicians, drive satisfaction and support transfer center operations.
