Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a Transfer Coordinator RN for the Temple, TX campus. This onsite role supports the Transfer Center, facilitating patient movement and coordinating with physicians and nursing teams to improve access and outcomes.

The ideal candidate has critical care experience (ED/ICU/PACU), excellent customer service, strong communication, and attention to documentation. Night shift with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Valid RN license mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate smooth patient transfers with physicians, nurses, and departments.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high satisfaction.
• Gather information from other institutions and physicians accurately and promptly.
• Enhance services across the BSWH system using available resources.
• Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and compliant with standards.
• Manage relationships with referring physicians to drive satisfaction and market share; supervise Transfer Center Room Control Coordinator.
