Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX is seeking a Transfer Coordinator RN for an onsite role within the Transfer Center. You will facilitate patient transfers by coordinating with physicians, nurses and other departments to streamline access to our facilities and providers.

You will deliver excellent customer service, gather and document required information accurately, and maintain positive relationships with referring physicians while supporting smooth hospital stays.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• RN license must be valid and current.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth patient transfers by working closely with physicians, nurses, and other departments while following laws.
• Provide excellent customer service within and outside the organization, striving to be helpful and responsive.
• Gather information accurately and on time from other institutions and physicians.
• Drive satisfaction among referring physicians and support Transfer Center operations.
