UCI Health is seeking a Transfer Center RN Coordinator to facilitate patient access across enterprise locations. You will combine clinical judgment with communication and customer service to support safe transfers and appropriate placement.

Working with the Capacity Command Center, you will coordinate with referring facilities, physicians, and bed management to ensure right patient, right bed, right time. NIHAC-compliant and trauma-capable setting.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in Adult ICU or ED.
• Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, CDPH, and EMTALA requirements.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain pace.
• Knowledge of hospital capabilities and care coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate safe, timely patient access into and across UCI Health locations.
• Serve as primary contact for referring facilities and facilitate clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with CCC Medical Director and interdisciplinary teams to optimize throughput.
• Document actions accurately in appropriate systems and maintain composure under pressure.
