Job summary

Baptist Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Transfer Center, coordinating admissions and transfers to Tenet hospitals. You will work with referring facilities and hospital staff to facilitate patient placement and maintain EMTALA compliance.

The role requires 4+ years in acute care and a Texas RN license, with preferred Bachelor’s degree and prior ER/CC or leadership experience. Benefits support professional growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Texas State RN license is required.
• ER/CC or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transfer center operations and bed flow.
• Facilitate direct admissions and hospital transfers to Tenet hospitals.
• Maintain EMTALA compliance and regulatory documentation.
• Serve as clinical resource for transfer center staff.
