Job summary

Medasource LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse role in Florida requiring ACLS/BLS and Florida RN license. You will deliver patient care using the Nursing Process, exercise leadership, and plan for safe delivery across shifts. Experience with vent/trach, central lines, and wound care is preferred to support complex patients.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to hospital policies, and ongoing education to maintain clinical competency and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license (or multi-state compact).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (through American Heart Association).
• Vent/trach experience with knowledge of central lines; wound care experience preferred.

Job Description –

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Facility Requirements:

• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
• Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines & preferred wound care experience
• Must have Florida RN or multi-state compact RN license, must be attached to resume
