Job summary

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse at Medasource provides care to patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies, while demonstrating leadership in planning for safe delivery of care at the Greensboro, NC site. The RN applies critical thinking and clinical judgment, delegates priorities, and supervises staff to ensure quality care.

ACLS/BLS required; vent/trach experience and central line knowledge expected; NC or multi-state license and

Qualifications

• Must hold NC or multi-state compact RN license; attach to resume.
• ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Vent/trach experience and knowledge of central lines; wound care preferred.
• Agency must have NC Nursing Pool License.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process with leadership in planning for safe delivery of care.

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Facility Requirements

• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
• Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines & preferred wound care experience
• Must have NC or multi-state compact RN license, must be attached to resume
• Agency must have their NC Nursing Pool License
