Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Unit IIIG5 at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. This role provides opportunity to work in a fast-paced telemetry unit with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based patient care.

The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, collaborate with physicians, and educate patients and families. Active NJ RN license, BLS certification, and EPIC EMR experience are highly valued, with a Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification and nursing degree are preferred.
• EMR experience with EPIC is required or highly desirable.
• Prior patient care experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care per evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families to support understanding and next steps.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to care planning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical ladder opportunities.
