Job summary

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is seeking a Telemetry Float RN for the New Jersey area. The role offers exposure to multiple units, including CTICU Stepdown and Neuro/Heart Failure units, with a collaborative team culture and high-paced environment.

The position requires a New Jersey RN license, a BSN or current matriculation, and full-time status with roughly 3 shifts per week and alternating weekends. Comprehensive benefits are provided by RWJBarnabas Health.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Completion of all orientation requirements of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey.
• Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Discharge planning and ensuring a written teaching discharge plan for patients.
• Act as charge nurse as delegated by Nurse Manager, organize and delegate assignments by patient acuity.
• Complete daily patient classification.
• Maintain documentation of patient status and interventions.
• Provide care for telemetry patients and related equipment (ECG, vents, IVs).
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure quality care.
