Job summary

Allina Health in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for a procedural telemetry unit. This 1.0 FTE, 8-hour day shift role includes on-call rotation and 40 hours per week, with emphasis on patient care coordination and staff development.

You will partner with the Patient Care Manager to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care activities, provide education, and ensure compliance with policies. Licensure in MN or WI as applicable is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or an Associate's/Vocational degree with related Bachelor's degree or active enrollment in BSN/BAN program.
• 3 to 7 years in inpatient hospital nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates employee performance.
• Assists with recruitment and hiring for positions.
• Onboards, orients, and provides ongoing coaching, mentoring and support to staff.
• Manages staff assignments and productivity.
• Maintains open communication with the PCM regarding development and performance of unit personnel.
• Assures safety and compliance with regulations and policies.
