Job summary

Allina Health in Fridley, MN is seeking an RN to join our telemetry and medical-surgical teams on a permanent night shift. This role supports patients with cardiac conditions within a collaborative care model and includes leadership opportunities as Charge Nurse or Preceptor when applicable.

You will assess patient needs, develop and modify care plans, and coordinate with families to achieve optimal outcomes. A proactive, evidence-based approach and commitment to quality care are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• 1-2 years RN experience.
• RN license required in MN/WI depending on state.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years cardiac/telemetry/CCU experience.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; establish plan of care and outcomes.
• Maintain education and competencies to provide high-quality care.
• Incorporate evidence-based nursing practice respecting current rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with family and patient to set realistic, measurable outcomes.
• Identify age- and culturally-appropriate outcomes.
• Coordinate and delegate to ensure safe, effective care.
• Fulfill organizational requirements.
• Support roles: Charge Nurse and Preceptor when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
