Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license.
• Current, valid CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure medications, treatments, documentation, family teaching, care planning and patient care conferences are executed per policies.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure continuity of care from admission through discharge.
• Visit residents daily to observe status and notify the charge nurse/physician if a change in condition occurs.
• Identify problems and emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures in absence of a physician.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
