The role requires leading a team of direct care staff, ensuring accurate medication administration, care planning, and adherence to facility policies. CPR certification and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license.
• Current, valid CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure medications and treatments are conducted per Health Campus Policies.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure continuity from admission through discharge.
• Visit residents daily to observe status and notify the charge nurse/physician of changes in condition.
• Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate lifesaving measures in the absence of a physician.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports and charting as needed.
