Job summary

Springfield Hospital, Inc. in Vermont is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to patients following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice within the Department of Nursing and in conjunction with Specialty-Specific Standards of Patient Care.

The RN will utilize the Nursing Process to make clinical judgments, delegate tasks as appropriate, and ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and policies governing health care.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Active Vermont RN license in good standing or compact state license.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications.
  • Aseptic technique.
  • Scrub and circulating nurse skills within six months of hire.
  • Basic Dysrhythmia.
  • De-escalation training preferred.
  • Six months of nursing experience desirable for specialty areas.
  • Nursing care knowledge across the lifespan.
  • Effective people skills and communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technology in care delivery.

Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
  • Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Aseptic technique
  • Scrub and circulating nurse skills for various services (within six (6) months of hire)
  • Basic Dysrhythmia
  • De-escalation training (preferred)
  • Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas.
  • Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan.
  • Effective people skills and communication.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery.
Salary Range

The base rate for this position is $35.13 - $57.64 per hour. The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education and experience of the successful candidate.
