Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities in Maryland is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee direct and indirect nursing care in the skilled nursing neighborhood. You will coordinate assignments, schedules, and replacements as needed, and support the Director of Nursing in performance evaluations.

Requirements include an active RN license, at least two years of supervisory nursing experience, CPR certification, and strong nursing principles and assessment skills.

Qualifications

• Current State license as Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of two years related nursing experience with increasing supervisory responsibilities.
• Current or eligible for certification in CPR.
• Advanced knowledge of nursing principles and physical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all aspects of direct and indirect nursing care to residents in the skilled nursing neighborhood.
• Prepares, reviews, and coordinates nursing assignments and work schedules to assure attendance and makes arrangements for replacements as necessary.
• Assists the Director of Nursing in job performance evaluations of nursing personnel.
