Owen Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee nursing assistants and deliver direct resident care. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards under the direction of the Director of Nursing, maintaining the highest quality of care.

You will lead shift planning, supervise documentation, administer medications, and collaborate with other departments to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• RN with current state license
• Ability to read/write/speak English
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulations governing care facilities
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred

Responsabilités

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants
• Plan shift services, programs and activities with staff
• Provide and document resident care and reports
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required
• Provide leadership to unit/shift nursing staff
• Complete charting and documentation
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information
• Ensure privacy and safety in nursing care
• Perform duties as assigned
