Job summary

Owen Valley Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking an LPN or RN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. The role ensures quality care in line with official standards and regulations that govern our facility.

The position requires leadership to plan shift services, administer medications, and maintain accurate records while creating a warm, calm unit environment that prioritizes resident well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• CPR certification is required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions and supervise nursing assistants.
• Plan shift services and report on shift activities.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Complete and maintain resident records and charts on admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality of health information.
• Assist with IV care and other required procedures.
