Job summary

Owen Valley Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care and supervise day-to-day nursing activities for residents in Indiana. The role requires leadership in coordinating shift services and maintaining quality care in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing assistants, planning shift programs, charting, and medication administration while ensuring patient privacy and safety throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Meet with your assigned nursing staff to plan shift services.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel on your unit/shift.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
