Job summary

Owen Valley Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day activities of nursing assistants.

You will ensure care meets federal, state, and local standards, and follow directives from the Director of Nursing. Collaborative teamwork, accurate charting, and medication administration are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• CPR certification required.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Meet with assigned nursing staff to plan shift services and activities.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel on the unit/shift.
• Document care and maintain accurate records.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Ensure privacy and safety of nursing services.
