PACS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a general-purpose role in a long-term care facility. The RN will supervise day-to-day nursing activities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations under the DON/ADON as applicable.

Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, maintaining policies, coordinating care, reviewing discharge plans, and participating in quality assurance programs to uphold high standards of resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Must maintain all required continuing education/licensing.
• Must be licensed to practice as an RN in the state.

Responsabilités

• Inform nursing service personnel of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc.
• Greet newly admitted residents upon admission and escort them to their rooms as necessary.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure orders are followed and treatments are provided as scheduled.
• Ensure that rooms are ready for new admissions and that residents receive timely care.
• Assist in arranging transportation for discharged residents as necessary.
