Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a General Purpose role. The RN will supervise day-to-day nursing activities across a long-term care facility during the tour of duty, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

The position emphasizes leadership, policy implementation, patient care quality, discharge coordination, and collaboration with nursing staff, physicians, and administrators to maintain a safe, warm, and well-organized care environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and an active RN license.
• 2+ years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Direct nursing services in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Develop and update written policies and procedures for the nursing service.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with Nursing Service Manual and procedures.
• Assist in discharge planning and coordination with physicians and residents.
