Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neuro Progressive Care unit (CMC Tower Expansion) in Charlotte, NC. This night-shift role requires BLS, an active RN license, and clinical nursing experience specializing in neuro care.

The RN will work in a fast-paced ICU-adjacent unit with collaboration from neurosurgeons and healthcare teams. Responsibilities include direct patient care, assessment and care planning, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Neuro Progressive Unit (ICU pathway).
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neuro patients.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and quality care.
