Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Med Surg ICU to oversee operations and patient care in designated areas during night shifts. You will act as a clinical resource for staff and patients and step in as staff nurse when needed.

Managerial duties may be delegated, all within Mercy’s mission and Service Standards. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license (state or compact), and 2 years of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state with compact licensure required.
• 2 years of patient care experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as staff nurse in the department as needed and perform duties delegated by a manager.
• Ensure alignment with Mercy mission, values and Service Standards.
