Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Med Surg ICU to lead staffing, coordinate patient care, and support staff across shifts. This full-time night position emphasizes clinical leadership and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license in Missouri or compact, BLS, and at least 2 years of patient-care experience; BSN and supervisor experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of patient-care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes delegated managerial duties.
