Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for the Med Surg ICU to lead clinical operations during night shifts. You will coordinate patient care, support staff, and ensure adherence to Mercy Service Standards and policies.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in designated areas, acting as a clinical resource, and stepping in as staff nurse or manager as needed. BLS required; RN license in Missouri; 2 years of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in Missouri or compact licensure in which duties are performed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days.
• Minimum 2 years of patient care experience.
• Supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
