Job summary

Mercy is seeking a RN Supervisor for Med Surg ICU to provide leadership and clinical excellence during night shifts. This role supports planning, coordination and evaluation of patient care within the unit while acting as a clinical resource for staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care for designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Provide hands-on nursing support as a staff nurse in the department when needed.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
