Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Med Surg ICU to oversee planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas. You will act as a clinical resource for staff and patients and may serve as a staff nurse when needed.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license in the hiring state (or compact), BLS certification, and at least 2 years of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of patient care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes delegated managerial duties.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values and service standards.
