Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN Supervisor for the Med Surg ICU to oversee operations and patient care during night shifts. This role supports staff, coordinates care plans, and acts as a clinical resource while assuming managerial duties when delegated.

A strong nursing background and leadership potential are essential. Applicants must hold an accredited nursing degree, be eligible for RN licensure in Missouri (or compact), and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years' experience in patient care required.
• Supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
