Job summary

McCormick's Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced RN to provide direct care and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure quality, compliant care across shifts, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians and other departments to support residents.

The role requires an active RN license, English proficiency, and CPR certification, with long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current unencumbered state license.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when needed.
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, laws and guidelines for facilities.
• CPR certification is required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop and maintain good rapport with inter-departmental staff.
• Create and maintain a warm, calm environment on the unit.
• Receive/give nursing reports and perform rounds with physicians.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality of resident care information.
