Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Complete and file admission, transfer, and discharge records; transcribe physician orders; maintain charting per policy.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop an effective rapport with other departments and maintain a calm, caring unit environment.
• Receive and relay shift reports to ensure continuity of care and communicate with physicians as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and compliance with privacy regulations.
