Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking a nurse leader to oversee the clinical operations of nursing units on assigned shifts in a long-term care setting. You will ensure compliance with policies, care standards, and regulatory requirements while guiding a team of nurses and coordinating with other departments.

You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain safe, 24/7 care, participate in recruitment and staff development, and help optimize staffing and workflows to reduce overtime and reliance

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical operations of nursing units on assigned shift, ensuring policy and regulation compliance.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with other departments to implement care delivery models.
• Maintain adequate nursing staff with emphasis on minimizing overtime and agency use.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
