Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking an RN Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing and advance the quality of care across nursing units.

You will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with policies, and drive patient and family satisfaction while maintaining safety and efficiency. You will lead staffing, mentor staff, and contribute to the delivery model implementation on every shift, fostering collaboration and professional growth across the nursing team in a long-term care

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is required, with two years in long-term care nursing and one year in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification and RN license.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Director of Nursing.
• Lead, guide and direct clinical operations of nursing units on assigned shift.
• Facilitate implementation of the care delivery model and processes.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff for 24/7 care, minimizing overtime and agency use.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, and mentorship; advise on promotions and transfers.
