Job summary

The Alden Network in Illinois is seeking a dedicated nurse to provide direct care and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies. The role focuses on maintaining the highest quality of care for residents and coordinating daily nursing activities.

Responsibilities include planning and directing patient care, supervising staff, documenting care, and participating in care conferences.

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in IL/WI.
CPR certification obtained within two weeks of employment.
Knowledge of nursing practices and care of the aged.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to customers and supervise day-to-day activities of nursing assistants.
Ensure supervision complies with Federal, State and local standards and facility policies.
Plan and direct patient care, participate in care conferences, and maintain accurate charts.
Place orders for medications and treatments as needed following budget guidelines.
Chart nursing notes and monthly summaries reflecting the care plan.
Attend staff meetings and participate in continuing education programs.
Provide guidance to nursing staff and ensure appropriate adherence to procedures.
