Job summary

The Allure Group in Brooklyn, NY, seeks an RN Supervisor to lead nursing staff, assess resident care, and ensure high-quality care aligned with established standards.

You will supervise RNs and CNAs, participate in rounds, and provide direct care when needed, with a focus on compassionate, compliant long-term care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid, current RN license.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, and regulations related to long-term care.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a long-term care facility.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that may affect desired resident outcomes.
• Monitor and ensure that daily resident care needs are met, and that appropriate care is provided.
• Address resident and staff concerns in order to maintain and improve the quality of care.
• Supervise staff nurses and CNAs, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and to the highest standards.
• Make rounds of resident rooms to observe and assess residents' physical and emotional states.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed, including administering treatments and medications.
• Perform all tasks in accordance with established policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Remain flexible and ready to perform services or assignments within the scope of an RN’s practice.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated RN Nurse Supervisor to join the team at Crown Heights Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brooklyn, NY.
