The Allure Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (New Grad RN) at Crown Heights Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brooklyn, NY. You will provide compassionate nursing care to residents and support the care team to uphold high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid, current RN license.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, and regulations related to long-term care.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsabilités

• Participate in administrative functions, including reports to the Director and other team members.
• Assist in preparing for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Consult with residents, families, and physicians to plan and coordinate care.
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition and adjust care plans.
• Ensure nursing staff providing direct care are trained to perform procedures.
• Monitor medication administration and treatment schedules as prescribed.
• Inspect nursing treatment areas daily for cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure adequate stock levels of medications, supplies, and equipment.
• Use effective communication to inform staff of residents’ needs.
• Remain flexible and perform RN duties as needed.
• Provide direct nursing care when necessary, including treatments and medications.

Position Overview

We are excited to offer an opportunity for New Grad Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the team at Crown Heights Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brooklyn, NY. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and skilled care to residents, while working closely with the healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in administrative functions, including making written and oral reports/recommendations to the Director and other team members.
• Assist in preparing for new admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Consult with residents, their families, and physicians to plan and coordinate care.
• Monitor and report any changes in resident condition and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Ensure that nursing staff providing direct care are qualified and properly trained to perform required procedures.
• Monitor medication administration and treatment schedules to ensure medications are administered as prescribed.
• Inspect nursing treatment areas daily to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Ensure adequate stock levels of medications, medical supplies, and equipment.
• Use effective communication methods to ensure all staff are aware of residents’ needs.
• Remain flexible and ready to perform any services or tasks within the scope of an RN’s practice.
• Provide direct nursing care when necessary, including administering treatments and medications.

Qualifications

• Valid, current RN license.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, and regulations related to long-term care.
• Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Preferred

• New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply!
• Previous experience in long-term care settings.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare software is a plus.
