Job summary

Hamilton Park Center of Nursing and Rehabilitation in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Supervisor to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team.

As an RN Supervisor, you will oversee daily resident care, supervise RNs and CNAs, ensure quality outcomes, and maintain compliance with long-term care guidelines. COVID-19 vaccination is required. Qualifications

• Valid, current RN license.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term care.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and regulations in long-term care.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate effectiveness of patient care and identify issues affecting outcomes.
• Assess and ensure daily resident care needs are met.
• Address resident and staff concerns to promote quality care.
• Supervise RNs and CNAs to ensure completion and quality of duties.
• Perform rounds of resident rooms to observe health status.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
• Follow policies and procedures; perform tasks within RN scope.

RN Nurse Supervisor Responsibilities

• Evaluate theeffectiveness of patient care and identities any issues that affect desiredresident outcomes
• Assess, review, andmaintain that daily resident care needs are met, and appropriate resident careis given
• Address resident andstaff concerns to promote quality care
• Supervise staff nursesand CNAs to ensure their completion and quality of duties
• Make rounds ofresident rooms to observe and evaluate resident’s physical/emotional state
• Provide direct nursingcare as necessary
• Perform all assignedtasks in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Remain prepared to doany services or assignments within the scope of practice of an RN

RN Nurse Supervisor Requirements

• Valid, current RN license
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices andprocedures, and/or terminology, laws, regulations, and the guidelines thatpertain to long-term care
• At least one-year experience in a supervisorycapacity in a long-term care facility
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• COVID-19 Vaccination
